Please join us in welcoming Sia Nyorkor to the 3News team!

Sia is an Emmy Award-winning journalist with over 20 years of experience. She recently returned home to work with our sister station, WTHR in Indianapolis, as a Multi-Skilled Journalist. Many of you may know her from her time at WOIO, where she served as a reporter and weekend anchor.

At WKYC, Sia will report nightly with the “What’s Next” team Monday through Thursday. She will also join Mike Polk to anchor “Front Row Friday” at 7 PM and will join Russ at the desk on Fridays at 11 PM for “What’s Next.”

Active in the National Association of Black Journalists, Sia serves at both the local and national levels and is a mentor to young, aspiring journalists. Additionally, she is a member of the public service sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

You won’t have to wait long to officially welcome Sia to the 3News team—her first day is January 13th!
