After a 3 1/2 year run, NABJ's Black News & Views newsletter has ceased publication.

After three and a half years of providing cutting-edge journalism that affects the international Black community, NABJ's Black News & Views newsletter has ceased publication, effective December 31, 2025.

Launched in the summer of 2022 under the direction of Melanie Eversley and Amber Hudson, Black News and Views featured original content from a team of contributors from NABJ, as well as 30+ partners, including Mother Jones, Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal.

The final newsletter includes a note of thanks from Eversley and Hudson, which reads:

Dear Black News & Views partners, supporters, and friends:

This is our last newsletter and today marks our last day of publication. We thank you for watching, reading and engaging as we've broken news and unearthed trends with the help of journalists ranging from hard-working students to veterans with Pulitzers and Emmys. The last 3.5 years have been exhilarating and you made it that way.

While all the stories and links on the website are still active, it's unclear on how long they will remain so.
