Jan. 18 watch parties, events for screening of Laura Cowan docudrama

During MLK Weekend we will celebrate one of our own who has been a drum major for justice... Laura Cowan, a veteran domestic violence awareness advocate and GCLEABJ member. 


The Laura Cowan Story, "Girl in the Garage" comes to the screen via the Lifetime network and we ask that you join us for a live watch party Saturday, Jan. 18 at 7 pm at UnBar Cafe, 12635 Larchmere Blvd. Come out and show your support for one of Cleveland's own as you watch her gripping story unfold. Special guests Nicole McKinney Johnson (CEO of The Rape Crisis Center) and Monica Boone will be in attendance.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please keep in mind that seating is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. Light refreshments will be served. Click here to register.
