Informative panel discussion on natural hair care held at new MLK Library Feb. 24

GCLEABJ member and NABJ Parliamentarian Sia Nyorkor recently served as moderator for the panel discussion, The Art & Care of Natural Hair at the new MLK Branch of the Cleveland Public Library. Among the panelists were George E. Johnson (attending virtually) and Hilary Beard, co-authors of Afro Sheen: How I Revolutionized an Industry with the Golden Rule, from Soul Train to Wall Steet. Other panelists included State Representative Juanita O. Brent; YWCA President/CEO Helen Forbes-Fields; Jeremiah ‘J-Boogie’ Allen and barber Jayson ‘Dub-The Artisan’ Williams.
