An Evening with Laura Cowan at new MLK Library January 28

On Tuesday, January 28th, from 6pm to 7:30pm the new Martin Luther

King, Jr., Library (10601 Euclid Avenue) will host this exciting event with Domestic Violence Advocate Laura Cowan. For the first time, Laura will have an open and in-depth conversation about her abduction and courageous escape from her tormentor, who held Laura and her children

captive in his garage for an extended period of time. Laura Cowan’s harrowing story of survival can be seen in the new Lifetime movie, Girl in the Garage: The Laura Cowan Story, which premiered January 18.
